The rain beats against the windows,

All the water is rising rapidly and unexpectedly

I think that the text matches perfect with the epilepsy attacks of my daughter.
Normally the sun is shining for her, but suddenly the storm comes up! Those nights seem very long but they will end. And then she is okey again. And the sun is shining again!
